Source: Electronic health records and client data systems as registered nurses' tools in Finland 2020 and 2017. Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare and University of Eastern Finland
Measure: The number of respondents to the survey
Description
The number of respondents to the survey. The figure has not been calculated if n is less than 5.
The number of respondents to the survey who were suitable to answer. The first question of the survey was used to rule out respondents who do not work as a nurse anymore: 'I cannot answer to the survey as I have not worked as a nurse in so many years.' The University of Eastern Finland has answered for the execution of the survey. The Association of Nurses; The Union of Health and Social Care Professionals in Finland and Akava Association of Nurses and Health Science Academic Leaders and Experts have acted as partners in data collection. The first data collection was carried out from February to April in 2017 and the second data collection was carried out from March to April in 2020. The partners sent the survey to those working-age registered nurses, midwifes and public health nurses, who had a valid email address. In 2017 the survey was delivered to 29 283 members of which 3 607 members answered the survey. In 2020 the survey was delivered to approximately 58 000 members of which 3 610 members answered the survey.
